beta

FiveTrace is in beta, and here is exactly what that means.

It is built, it is tested, and it is new. Rather than leave you to guess which parts of that matter, this page says what runs today, what has not been proven yet, and what happens to your data either way.

Live logs is the half that has been used. Lines arrive, channels appear the first time a script writes to one, search works, the feed updates while you watch it, and a channel can ping a Discord webhook when a number or a level crosses what you set. That is the product this company leads with and it is the one to judge it on.

Error tracking is built to the same standard and has had no real traffic at all. Every part of it has tests; none of it has had a stranger’s server throw a Lua error at it. If you sell scripts and you try it, you are genuinely first, and I would rather tell you that now than have you work it out.

Nobody is running FiveTrace at the scale of a full server yet. The limits on the plans are enforced in the database rather than promised in copy, so what they say is what happens — but a busy Saturday night on a two-hundred-player server is a thing this has not seen.

They are yours and they are not a product. Nothing is sold, nothing is shared with anybody, and nothing is used to train anything. The privacy policy is the binding version of that sentence and it is short.

Lines are kept for 3 days on the free plan and 30 days on Server, then deleted. Raw error events keep 7 days on the free plan. Going over a monthly allowance shortens your history rather than rejecting lines, so a busy month costs you depth and never costs you the log itself.

Every channel exports to CSV from its own page, whenever you like, without asking me first. A player can be erased across every channel at once from the dashboard, which is what a deletion request from one of your players looks like in practice.

Signing up starts Server free for 7 days. No card, nothing to cancel, and when it ends the account drops to the free plan rather than locking you out. Your servers and channels stay where they are; the free plan keeps a shorter window of history.

Prices are on the pricing page and are not final while this is a beta. Paddle takes the payment as merchant of record when there is one to take, which is what puts a real invoice and your country’s tax on it rather than a bank transfer and a promise.

Tell me what breaks. A beta that nobody complains about is a beta nobody is using, and the bugs worth most to me are the boring ones — a page that reads wrong on your phone, a sentence that made you hesitate, an install step that did not match your server. Several things on this site are the way they are because somebody said so.

support@fivetrace.com reaches a person rather than a queue. Anything about what is held about you or your players goes to legal@fivetrace.com, which is a different inbox on a different clock on purpose.

The install is a key in server.cfg, two lines in a manifest, and one call from a script. The docs walk it end to end, and the wizard in the dashboard walks the same four steps with your own key already filled in.
